FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price I quote when replying to a request is my best guess at the cost based on the information given. Sometimes, there is not enough information to properly quote. In those instances I'll usually give a 0$ quote and explain that our rate is $125/hour. Not very complicated but wanted to detail it here.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 14, the Apple II was released and my high school acquired one. It was the first thing in my life to that point that I was extremely passionate about. I believed then that it was the coolest thing I had ever touched. I was immediately hooked and have been studying and working professionally in IT for 36 years since.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Many of our clients have an immediate problem that needs fixed. Usually something is not working with their storage, their computer(s), networking equipment, mobile devices etc. We fix their problem and usually make some recommendations about how to get more out of their computing environment. Some of our clients ask us to upgrade RAM or install SSD drive upgrades. Some want us to recommend products or strategies and don't have any immediate problem. We also expertly manage web properties and SEO/SEM programs. We have never faced a challenge we could not handle "knock-wood." :-)
