FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to work as a project manager and designer in mobile and game development. I felt burned out by the gilded cage of tech: so I decided to fly the coop. I radically changed my primary career: I now work predominately as a massage therapist. But when I left development, I lost the opportunity to use my creative visual skills as regularly, so I began doing freelance work for friends and small businesses around North County San Diego. I evolved to working exclusively on resumes because the format is contained, the turnaround is fast, and the work helps people in a fundamental way. (That's important to me! I want to participate in the greater good!) I've never minded applying to jobs or interviewing - and it's something that's stressful for a lot of people - so I figured why not help! It's awesome to learn about all the jobs out there and how people are pursuing their income. I've really learned a lot in the last few years!
