- What types of customers have you worked with?
The past few years have seen a spike in the Refinishing and Refacing concept. People have been doing small layout changes but keeping most of the existing cabinet boxes in place. At this point you can change only the cabinet doors and exterior wood species, or with refinishing, we strip the old finish off down to bare wood. Now all changes will be to raw wood and a nice stain will blend everything together perfect. Next we paint or "reskin" the insides of your cabinetry and install new drawer boxes, lazy suzans, pull out trash cans, pull out shelves, and new shelf paper if desired.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Knowledge is power. Is your contractor educating you on the value of different materials or multistage processes? What Trade Shows has your contractor been to recently and what does there willingness to work with any unique situations say about there work ethic.
