Introduction: Ever since I was young, I've had a love and passion for animals. I stay in your home where your fur baby is comfortable. Not having to be stressed in an unfamiliar place. I love on your pets, feed them, walk, play and any thing else that is needed. Meds, etc. Giving your home a lived in look while you're gone on business, vacation, etc. Your pets are well cared for, like they were my own.

Hi my husband and I have been using Shannon Eckard and her "Doggoneit House & Pet Sitting for a couple of years now... We have been very pleased with her work as we have quite a few animals to take care of....both cats and dogs inside and out... She came to us highly recommended and we have found her to be very professional in her work and very caring of our animals...we try to book her in advance of when we will be needing her and she has always been accommodating...we recently used her services while we were out of the country and as usual had no problems..we would recommend her services to any that inquired.

Shannon recently babysat my kitty while I was away on a short trip. She has a strong connection to animals. My kitty loved her instantly. She also has a background working as a vet's assistant, so she is very knowledgeable when it comes to both dogs and cats, as far as their behaviors, what makes them tic, and how to relate to them. She's a very friendly and sweet lady and totally trustworthy. Also very professional, which put me at ease. I would definitely have her cat-sit for me again. Thanks Shannon!

Shannon is great with our small dog, Ella loves her and gets excited when she sees Shannon. She is attentive to our dog, checks thoroughly with on food, exercise, etc. She will be staying with Ella for 3 weeks, Ella is looking forward to having her here.

On more than one occasion Shannon Eckard has house/pet sat for me. We typically were gone 8 to 10 days. She always followed our pet instructions and kept our house in order. My pets were always loved and well cared for. She comes highly recommended.

My pricing is based on my years of experience, mileage, gas prices etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a FREE in home Consultation. That gives me a chance to meet your pet(s) in their home. I'm able to talk with my client and find out the feeding schedule, sleeping arrangements, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience working in the animal health care field. From a Veterinary Assistant/Tech. & everything in between. Depending what state I was living in. I'm an avid proponent of TNR, & have worked closely with a local organization called Fluff Buddies. I have educated myself over the years by reading and having a constant dialogue with my own dog's Veterinarian. I'm very blessed to have been given the natural talent that enables me to have the passion for the animals like I do!
