These guys were amazing and helpful from start to finish! We got multiple quotes but Jim was so excited about our project that it sold us. We are so glad that we did! The crew lead by Eduardo went above and beyond the already high expectations that were established by Jim when the project was sold. I would absolutely recommend Blue Lion Hardscapes to anyone looking.

Jim was a fantastic coordinator!
Discussed what I wanted, and he helped me design what turned out perfect fir my backyard.
Even with media reported worker problems, the crew came as promised and completed the job in a very timely manner.

I’m roughly 7 months post-work that I hired my man Jim Bales from Blue Lion Hardscaping for.
I like to wait to write reviews as I’ve been burned quite a lot in my past but let me say the workmanship here is absolutely top-notch.
To first speak to the job, I had my entire front yard (including a little side yard i share with a neighbor) dug up. This was replaced with a high-quality artificial turf in the hopes of preventing further maintenance.
I have some ongoing medical issues that heavily deter me from much yard work, flowers, etc. And Jim was beyond understanding about this. Helping direct the work we were planning to meet my personal goals.
It’s absolutely worth mentioning just how personable Jim was. All I can say is thanks in summation of the numerous conversations he and I shared along the way. Something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Covid has posed an incredible challenge to me spending time with friends. Hospitalized me. And continues to cause many issues, but I hope someday I can give Jim and Taylor a promised butt whooping at bowling!
Back to the work. Jim first came by to get an understanding of what i was hoping for. Once that was settled Taylor came by to sign paperwork. Again, as was the case with Jim, Taylor was also incredibly friendly and a joy to chat with while signing paperwork. Shout out to the shared disney love.
In addition to the yard work, I had my entire backyard trimmed down. A tree removed. And a large strip of concrete laid down along the side of my house. Another square section of concrete was placed around my AC unit.
Standing here 7 months later, with the upmost sensitivity to shotty work, I can strongly say everything is still 100% fantastic.
There is very minimal expected weeds for artificial turf Jim let me know about. And this has held up so far. I’ve only pulled weeds 2 times in the past 7 months. Everything still looks fantastic (I’ll attach pictures if thumbtack allows).
Jim and Taylor are the rare quality of people you’ll hire that you grow to care about. Only to be exceeded by the quality of work Jim demands for his clients.
As I’ve described, medically, the workmanship is something that I will always appreciate. And more so, I appreciate the time I got to spend with them.
Know that you’re hiring a company that will care just as much about you, personally, as they will for the job itself.
