FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We scope every project in writing before any work begins - no surprise charges. For installs over California's $1,000 service-work threshold, we design the system and coordinate with a licensed C-7 low-voltage contractor for the install, then return to program, test, and certify it. Ask about current discounts when you request a quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a walkthrough or virtual consultation to understand your space and goals, then provide a written scope and design - RF surveys, drop schedules, and rack plans where relevant - before any cable is pulled. Once approved, we install (or oversee our licensed install partner), then program and test every system against the platforms you actually use before handing it off.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Founder Frank Simeon has 20+ years of hands-on experience in low-voltage systems and network infrastructure. Our team tests every Cat6A run with a Fluke LinkIQ tester, and for projects requiring TIA-568 certification we use a Fluke DSX certifier and deliver full documentation. We're also authorized dealers/installers for Lutron, Ubiquiti, Netgear, and Lorex.
