We had a very large job that needed to be done. I got six quotes total. They were very reasonable, gave a true price (where others where heavily inflated and willing to negotiate), spent extra time to acess the work, and where the only ones to suggest the upgraded material that would end up saving me money from having to redo the job later.

Contracted to remove old insulation and debris, seal and insulate with new insulation in attic. Also installed radiant heat barrier.
The technician was knowledgable and thorough. The estimate was concise and accurate. The crew was courteous and efficient, on time and finished according to plan. After a few hot days the radiant heat barrier is working well as estimated and is an added value to the home. I would recommend using EM Energy and Air.

We had a very positive experience with this attic insulation company from start to finish. They were punctual and professional both during the initial quote and on the actual installation day, which immediately set a good tone.
One thing that really stood out was how thoroughly they assessed the attic. They correctly identified the need for baffles—something no other company mentioned during earlier quotes. After doing my own research, I realized how essential baffles are for proper airflow, so I really appreciated their attention to detail and technical knowledge.
The work order itself was also exceptionally well documented. Unlike some other contractors who brushed things off as “easy enough,” this team clearly wrote out what would be done and why. That level of clarity helped me understand exactly what I was getting and made me feel much more comfortable moving forward.
They also provided photo proof of all the completed work, which was reassuring and showed transparency. The installation team was polite, professional, and focused—no loud behavior, no unnecessary hanging around, just efficient and respectful work.
They even took care of a couple of small items beyond the original scope, such as adding meshes for vents, which I really appreciated.
