I had a challenging tile repair request and the first to respondents said the job would be too difficult. Two rounded tiles (corner pieces) broke off from my kitchen counter and broke into pieces on the stone floor. I could not find replacement tiles, so needed someone to try to work with what I had. Altanas managed to get the pieces back in place and fill a sizable gap with matching grout.

Hired on Thumbtack

I hired this handy man to install laminated flooring two months ago. He told me he wanted to start work early at 8am. But he didn’t show up until almost 10am. I thought it would be fine because it was a small project. He was not good at installing flooring at all. He left large gaps between some flooring panels. I asked him to fix them. He said he tried many times and could not fix. I will never hire this guy again. I probably will not hire anyone through thumbtacks ever.

Details: Laminate • 100 - 250 sq ft • I will purchase the materials • Home • Owner
