You cannot pass Yin up. Seriously, he is 10x better than any other photographer on here.
He goes above and beyond, even playing your own music during the shoot and does so much to make you feel comfortable! He is amazing at capturing the deeper feel of the moment and is just so incredibly talented.

I had the pleasure of working with Yin and Jenny who went above and beyond to make our friend’s surprise proposal absolutely perfect. From the very beginning, they showed a genuine enthusiasm and dedication to capturing every moment of this special day.
One thing that truly stood out about them was their attention to detail. They left no stone unturned and made sure that every fine detail was taken care of. From scouting the location beforehand to coordinating with me on the timing and logistics, making sure to get the permits, they were meticulous in their planning. Because we were flying in the day of the shoot, Jenny even helped order the champagne and flowers for us in advance to avoid one extra stop for us. She even helped pick up the umbrella forthe shoot. Their commitment to ensuring that every aspect of the proposal went smoothly was truly commendable.
Not only did they take care of the logistics, but they also provided invaluable suggestions and ideas. The bottom line up front I hired Yin for my engagement on the beach. He is the best choice if you want a photographer that not only knows what they are doing but also has an"EYE" for photography.
The story here is I reviewed both pages on thumbtack and reviewed over 15+ photographers profile, website, and IG and Yin is the photographer that stood out to me.
So I messaged him and he got back to me immediately. The engagement was scheduled on a Friday and I had messaged him on that Wednesday. So this was a last minute hire.
After connecting through the messaging app we spoke on the phone in depth about what I wanted to achieve and he asked all the questions you would expect a professional to ask.
He also went out of his way to provide examples, and ideas for our shoot. Even the morning of the engagement we spoke again.
During the actual shoot Yin was very clear, confident, and creative during the entire process. We felt very comfortable and really made the entire experience a breeze.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer multiple packages as well as custom packages to suit different needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'd ask the customer for a few sample imageries of the look or style he/she is looking for. From there, I will create a Pinterest board of inspirations and ideas to get the ball rolling.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Back in college, I was one of the most reliable senior photographers at Daily Bruin, a nationally recognized and award winning newspaper.
I was also a mentor at the Photography Club at UCLA. I led portraiture and lighting workshops that took the club to another level.
