Amazing criminal defense attorney who fought for me and really showed caring for my case and ME as a human being! I was wrongly charged with a spousal battery misdemeanor and Ms. Gottesman kept me updated on every update, even on weekends and evenings. In addition, Ann doesn't act like she is in a rush to get off the phone or impatient. She always had time for me even when I had a lot of questions! Ann is a lawyer with a good heart and she is a lawyer because she wants to help people--not because she wants money. That is why I call Ann Gottesman a "gem" of a lawyer. I doubt there are many like her. SHe was respected in court (my case was in West Covina) and in the end she got my domestic violence charges dismissed on the day of trial. Southwestern School of Law (2005) I attend criminal defense and DUI seminars several times per year which help attorneys improve their trial skills and stay on top of new laws and court opinions. I'm an active member of California DUI Lawyers Association (CDLA) LACBA, CACJ, CPDA and TPD.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been passionate about protecting the constitutional rights of the accused and knew from the first day of law school that the only type of law I wanted to practice was criminal defense.
