About
I love to build that one on one relationship with the student and try to make the lessons fun. Kids get little rewards for accomplishments to help them with dedication. I am patient and I like to make the lessons fun.
I've always enjoyed watching my students improve and it has always been fulfilling to me when they accomplish their goals.

Vince has been teaching guitarlessons to my 7 year old daughter for the past 2 months. He is patient, encouraging, and teaches with a good balance of challenge and support. Vince is always prepared and uses a book to supplement his teaching. He writes notes to illustrate his lessons which helps my daughter practice at home. Vince is thoughtful and encourages my daughter to collaborate during lessons and also tries to incorporate music that she enjoys. He plans two recitals per year (summer and winter) for his students who include children and adults. My daughter participated in the June recital after only one month of lessons! Vince taught her to play the Happy Birthday song as a surprise for my husband whose birthday was the day of the recital. The program was held at a Pasadena park and Vince centered the event around the student performances and did not promote himself or his program as many music teachers tend to do. Vince is humble, gentle, and encouraging. He focuses on teaching his students to enjoy playing the guitar and to feel confident about expressing their music. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in guitarlessons. He visits our home weekly for private lessons. His rates are fair and he is flexible should we ever need to cancel/reschedule a class.

Vince is a great person and a very knowledgeable instructor. He takes time to teach you the correct way, and not the fast and easy method.

I started taking lessons about a year ago and I can say my experience has been wonderful. I have learned a lot; I can read the notes on a staff, I know how to play over twenty songs, and I have performed in two of his recitals. He is flexible with scheduling lessons and I am repeatedly impressed by his guitar playing skills.

Vince has been our son's guitar teacher for 31/2 to 4 years, and has done a wonderful job. Vince is extremely patient and encouraging as a teacher, but also demanding of good sound and good technique. Recitals have been fun. Our son enjoys playing more than ever at this stage of his life, and started playing in a band.

Vince has been my guitar teacher for the past eight years, and I can honestly say I'm learning as much now as I was when I first started playing when I was 10. He's very adaptable and is willing to teach his students anything they want to learn, whether it be classical, classic rock, or current music. He is open to student requests but also has his own suggestions based on their skill level, introducing his students to a wide variety of music. I've learned everything from the basics to more complicated techniques, and he was very helpful and patient the whole way through. In recent years he's also provided students the opportunity to perform at recitals, giving us all the extra push to practice even harder. I've really enjoyed having Vince as my teacher for the last 8 years and hope to continue in the future.

FAQs
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always keeping up with the times with musical styles and continuing with classes to improve my skills. I'm continuing to learn ideas on modern methods to help the student with learning.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone who is dedicated to his work and someone who is sincere about meeting the students needs. A good teacher loves what he does and his focus should be on what he could do to make his or her investment worth while.
