Introduction: I have an extensive background in both traditional and digital public relations. I was one of the first PR people to embrace digital tools and help move the PR industry into the online arena. I was named US PR Trainer of the Year by PR News in 2009 for for my digital and social media classes. Because I have knowledge and experience in traditional and digital PR I have been able to develop digital tools that meet the needs of PR practitioners and the media. I co-developed the first socially integrated Every day is different. I get to work in a very creative environment and help companies improve their communication with internal and external audiences.

Sally helps my company with public relations advice for us and for our clients on an on-going basis. She's particularly proficient at showing us where the digital trends are headed and was one of the first sources for digital PR. The only thing about Sally that could have been better is that, due to her popularity, there are times of year when it's hard to pin her down without advance appointments. But I suppose that is to be expected.

    The Mizuno Mezamashii Project. We did the blogger outreach for this innovative, integrated project that won 5 awards. Mizuno was named Brand of the Year in 2013 as a result.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Look at their website and social accounts. Have they built an online community for themselves? If not, how can you expect them to do it for you.
