FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is dependent on the number of forms necessary to fill out and the amount of information required. Each return is different so it is difficult to set a firm price without knowing more information.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask a lot of questions. First, to understand your situation and second, the see if there are any deductions that you may have overlooked. I can do all of this by email, phone and fax.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take a minimum of 30 hours of tax education every year, some years it is much more. I have been doing taxes since 2002. I have the same authority as a CPA, except all my education HAS to be in the tax field, where a CPA may take all of their education on financial statements as an example. I am the only designation regulated by the IRS and I had to pass 3- 3.5 hour exams to qualify.
