Would highly recommend Michael. He is professional, experienced and exudes a level of patience, understanding and insight. Our particular shelter dog is a handful and he gave us much needed direction into transitioning our dog into the home. Will continue to follow up with him.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my group classes are $20/class. Some classes I have to travel for cost a bit more. Privates cost from 75-100/hour depending on driving distance and other factors.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certifications that I hold: CAAE (Certificate in Applied Animal Ethology) from the Ethnology Institute Cambridge; CNWI (Certified Nose Work Instructor) from the National Association of Canine Scent Work; CATT (Certified American Treibball Trainer) from the American Treibball Association. I attend seminars and workshops regularly as well as bring those seminars to my students to improve the level of my own clients.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I got married, my wife had a dog with a lot of behavioral issues. I started learning about how to address those issues, and soon started apprenticing with several well respected dog trainers. I soon fell in love with animal training and have been doing it ever since.
