Introduction: The process of working with people for any service I offer is always inclusive and collaborative. I help guide with my experience and knowledge, while meeting each person, couple or group where they are with curiosity, kindness and most importantly gratitude. I love assisting people to create meaningful ceremonies that reflect their unique values and beliefs. The process is inclusive, creative and affirming, with the result always being a beautiful and special experience for all. In my experience with helping many people, the joy and love that is shared during preparation and during the ceremony is inspirational and hopeful.

When we started looking for an officiant, we knew we wanted someone that could help us build a ceremony that was deeply personal, but that would connect with a wide range of traditions for our guests. We met with a handful of potential officiants, but Karuna stood out. She was clearly experienced, understood multiple traditions, and was very tuned in to what we wanted our ceremony to embody. It was a huge relief to know our ceremony was in capable hands so we could focus on the rest of our (very DIY) wedding day. Working with Karuna was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend her.

Karuna officiated our wedding and was absolutely amazing!!! We met before the ceremony and she prepared a beautiful ceremony that reflected our beliefs and message of love. Karuna officiated our ceremony will such grace and loveliness. I knew from the moment I saw her picture she was full of light and love and this continued through when we met her in person. Karuna walked us through the process of creating a ceremony, she met with us a few times to get to know and understand us and she brought a beautiful sense of spirituality to our ceremony. She was the perfect choice as an officiant for our ceremony.

Karuna was amazing to work with. She really took the time to listen and understand what we were looking for in my baby's dedication ceremony. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees are negotiable. Just ask.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained Interfaith minister, also trained in Spiritual Direction/Counseling by The Chaplaincy Institute (2003). I also have a Masters degree in Social Work (MSW). I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate (LICSWA) in private practice. I meet monthly with my own spiritual director; I attend workshops on various spiritual practices, perspectives and issues; I consult with colleagues on a regular basis; I attend workshops on therapy, emotional and psychological issues related to how we all want to live our lives with happiness and peace.
