James Page Piano Lessons

I have vast experience as both a professional musician and an educator and I combine these with a genuine caring for each student. It is common for me to hear that I have "incredible patience". I do not follow a rote teaching method but rather approach each student as a unique individual. Some of my students play exclusively by reading music, others cannot read a single note but can play convincingly by using a chord-based approach. Although I have students as young as four, I particularly enjoy older adults who want to add to their lives the richness that comes from piano playing. Some have described the vitality that is added to their days by having this new discipline and focus. I love listening to a new student jam on a 12 bar blues or convincingly play their version of a song they know from a popular artist, past or present.
