Introduction: We work as a family team, so that no detail is missed... we're specifically committed to making your most important day go perfectly. As a firefighter paramedic (my "necessary job") I see an awful lot of tragedy and suffering. It's super rewarding to be on the other side and see couples united in joy and love, and to share with them and their families as they enter into a new phase of their lives together.

Val Palm was a great officiant! We officially hired her just over a week before the wedding - I couldn't believe she agreed to do the ceremony on such short notice! It was a huge relief for us. Val patiently helped us create a custom, perfect-for-us script for our ceremony, a script that wasn't finished until the day before the actual wedding. Her patience, helpfulness, and great attitude during the preparation period amazed us and continued on to the actual wedding day. The ceremony was beautiful even though Val had such little time to prepare. When I get the video back from our videographer I will be sure to post a link! Additionally, the only road leading to our venue flooded in the thunderstorm before the ceremony, so poor Val had to stay almost the whole night, but she didn't fuss over it. I'm sure ours was't the easiest wedding she has ever officiated :) we'll always be thankful to Val for going above and beyond!

I was consulting VAL palm and Kevin for a wedding ceremony I wanted them to officiate, they we're extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. Sent me links to things I didn't understand or know the answers too I'm sure if they officiate weddings the way they help answer questions then they do an amazing job!! Although they will not be performing my wedding due to my fault, I'm still grateful for all of their help.

WE LOVE THESE GUYS! Katie and I had looked thru a lot of Officiates and once we narrowed down the selection the choice was clear on who we should have to do our wedding. They were fast on the spot with suggestions and did EXACTLY what we wanted them to do. Not telling us what we NEED to do but were more concerned with how we wanted to do it. We would highly recommend them to all who want a painless, fun filled time to get the job done right without excuses.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
We have mixed feelings about our own wedding, and wish we'd done a few things differently. Then our daughter began planning a wedding, and we started to realize that sometimes the smallest details can create the best (or most stressful !) memories. We decided to do what we could to make other couples' wedding day go as smoothly and perfectly as possible, creating wonderful memories for them, to last their lifetime. We're a Southern California Firefighter family, dedicated to giving couples the wedding ceremony they dream of. We work as a team to ensure that every detail is perfect, and that the couple getting married need only to relax, look wonderful, and enjoy.....
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In reality, we're "just an officiant" for the vows. However, in our family, we like to provide a little extra help on the sidelines, just to take some pressure off the couple and their guests. Often there isn't a wedding planner, so we try do some of the little things that might get missed. If you're hiring anyone, ask lots of questions. Especially for a wedding, personality is important.
