Introduction: Each photographer has his/her own unique way of photographing so I will not place myself above other photographers, especially those whose work I have not seen. I am great at my craft. I am an intuitive artist. I see art in all things. I capture the natural state of people that highlight their true beauty. Photography is my Love, not a job for me, which is why my prices have been manageable for my clients. It is my Love; it brings me joy while bringing joy to others. It is a creative expression of who I am. It's a journey! It's an adventure.

If I could give Sandra Scoggins at least 10 stars I would! I hired Miss Scoggins for a company event, which I was the event planner for, my second one - except bigger. She was very affordable, honest and forthright. Miss Scoggins came to my rescue when a photographer I hired for the event, which I paid a large amount of money to weeks prior to the event, had to back out due to a family emergency. He was not able to refund the money until long after the event. I was stressed because there was no money in the budget to pay for another photographer so a friend referred me to a photographer who she used on numerous occasions, and whom often did pro bono work for the disadvantaged. The photographer I gratefully speak of is Miss Scoggins who immediately educated me about how not to pay the full amount for a job prior to the assignment. She said it is generally a rule of thumb to only pay a percentage prior to the job and the balance upon completion if a payment is required prior to the event. She was very compassionate and understanding! She agreed to do the job and allowed me to pay her once my refund was received. After the event, I received the refund check from the previous photographer. Miss Scoggins only accepted half of what she was due, and the other half once the photo project was completed and submitted. Miss Scoggins fee was about 50% less then the amount the other photographer was charging and her photo package was much better, more extensive. Prior to the event she came to the site to see the staging and set up, and she requested a copy of the itinerary. The day of the event she arrived at least an hour earlier. Additionally, her work was unbelievable! Everyone was in awe with the photo books, slideshow video and prints she put together. My manager, et al, was impressed with her overall skills and humility. Everyone absolutely adored her candid photos! I kept hearing people say "wow, I didn't know she took a picture of me, wow she's great, look, she even captured the building," which Miss Scoggins calls the establishing shot. Miss Scoggins is a great talent, very creative and original, and overall - very professional. I highly recommend her for any photo job, and otherwise.

I decided to do what brought me joy. It started off as a hobby, then transitioned beyond that.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings were the most common. All of my wedding photos were shot with a manual camera, prior to the creation of digital cameras. Secondly, events, i.e. parties, graduations, landscapes and memorial services...
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Pro bono for a homeless shelter where I photographed the residents there. Many of the children had not seen a 35mm camera. They were top models in the making. They had so much fun and they felt special. I touched their heart and they touched mine. Additionally, I participated in the Help-Portrait Photography event for homeless families.
