Introduction: We are a passionate and highly professional photography, videography, editing, and DJ / Live Sound service, dedicated to meeting your needs. We are based in both Pismo Beach, CA, and Bakersfield, CA, but are willing to travel to your location. AND NOW OFFERING LIVE STREAMING, for your corporate event, wedding, memorial, and more. With us, you're not just hiring a guy with a camera and sound system, that only cares about making a few bucks. You are hiring professionals, that take great pride in their work and customer satisfaction. We don't want to be just some company you hire to service your event. Most families have the Family Doctor, Family Mechanic, Handyman, etc...we want to be your Family Photographer! The ones you can trust to be honest, respectful, and have your best interests as top priority. I've enjoyed photography since I got my first film camera in 1986. I love the challenge of capturing a fleeting moment and preserving it forever. I equally enjoy capturing an image that is sharp, powerful, and shows emotion and the essence of my subject. But ultimately, it's the smiles and gasps that I get when my clients see their photos for the first time that makes all the hard work worthwhile. I have 10+ years experience in sound engineering. I've ran front of house consoles for countless live music and DJ events. My system is small and portable. But it's expandable, and sounds larger than it is. I have quality wired and wireless mics w/ stands available. I have access to virtually any song you can think of. You just give me a genre, artist, or song list, and I'll take care of the rest. I don't have any lighting, but if you want quality sound that fills a room without being overbearing, I'm your man! I've always been a bit of nerd with an obsession with techie stuff. But, I also LOVE artful creations. I'm just at home behind my camera, or behind my computer, as I am playing my guitar, or running a construction project, or fixing something broken around the house. So photography allows me to touch some great passions in my life. Art, tech, beauty, ingenuity, and showing love to people that may not get to see much of it in their lives.

MGH Images provided DJ services for our Decades Halloween party. Brent called me in advance to ask questions about our gathering so he could be prepared. He arrived early to set up.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Our pricing depends greatly on our client's needs. Some want prints, some only want digital images, and some want extra editing. So our services and pricing run the gamut of our customers' needs and budgets. We offer paper print packages that range from wallet size all the way up to 30x50. Framed and unframed. We will even custom design a collage for you! You pick the photos, background color, and (if applicable) text. If you like canvas wraps, we can go 8x8 up to 30x40. We also offer photo books and albums. Ask us for details. We'd be happy to put something together just for you!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    After receiving initial client contact, we will schedule a face to face, video, or phone consultation meeting to go over details, pricing, and expectations. If the client is satisfied, and comfortable with hiring our services, we will then sign an agreement and arrange a retainer to lock the date and book the shoot. The retainer is $100, or 50% of the total fee. Whichever is less. We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, and PayPal transactions.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Practice, practice, practice! I've studied under such greats as Jason Lanier, Sue Bryce, Joe Buissink, Peter Hurley, Lindsay Addler, Roberto Valenzuela, and more! I'm constantly studying and practicing to improve my craft. Not only do I train behind the camera, but in photo editing as well. In this day and age, one is just as important than the other.
