I can’t say enough positive things about Alex. He was everything you want your contractor be - honest, responsive, attentive, and professional. Alex was with me every step of the way! His price was very reasonable and his personality and demeanor were a bonus because I was at ease throughout the whole process. I had a couple setbacks during project and he was super accommodating and patient. He and his team worked extremely fast to get the job done, went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I highly recommend this professional and will use him for all my remodeling needs in the future. I can’t stop looking at my new kitchen. Thanks Alex and team!

I am so grateful for finding Golden Bay Remodeling. We had a pipe leaking in the slab of our house, which had flooded a spare room. Alex was able to help us deal with our difficult insurance company, fix the problem and leave our house as if nothing had ever happened. And I have to comment on how punctual his team was (which I am hearing is almost unheard of when it comes to this sort of thing and dealing with other general contractors) everyday his team was in front of my house promptly at 7:50 am and waited until 8 AM to start work. They were there everyday, on time and ready to work. This company is great, and we will be using them in the future most definitely. Alex also works with a fantastic mold removal company, North Bay Emergency Restoration Services.

I contacted Golden Bay Remodeling about remodeling my kitchen. Alex Padilla came to my home and did a thorough walk through and discussed my options with me. He followed up with a detailed bid that was LITERALLY 1/2 of another bid I received. I felt so good about my initial consultation with Alex that I awarded him the job. We decided on a start date, true to his word, Golden Bay and their team started exactly on time. Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. My countertops were delayed about 10 days, but that was no problem for Golden Bay. They never lost focus on my job and when the materials were in, they got an extra crew on site to make up for some of the lost time. The crew we had working on our job was really wonderful. The guys were so nice and respectful and made sure the jobsite was cleaned every day when they left. Of course we made a couple of changes to the project as we went along, but that was no problem for Alex and his crew. They advised us of any time something would be an additional cost and always kept the change orders to a minimum and kept the pricing reasonable. We were so happy with their work that we ended up having them remodel both of our bathrooms AND add recessed lighting throughout our home. Alex and his team are true professionals and take a lot of pride in their work. They always worked to find the best solution to any issues that came up and were very adept at using the materials they had to make small changes in the cabinet install. They tried NOT to have us go back to the cabinet company to order new parts and pieces, but would use local materials to compensate when they had to. This saved us immeasurable time when installing custom cabinets, since everything is special order and takes at least 3-2 weeks to get. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Golden Bay Remodeling. They stayed on site to make sure that every single item from our punch list was taken care of - which meant that we didn't have to chase them down to finish the small details that are left with any major remodeling job. I was just blown away. And the end result...just beautiful. My husband and I can't believe how great everything looks and say to ourselves and each other every single day..."We love our kitchen!!". We would use Golden Bay Remodeling on ANY project we do in our home!!

Golden Bay Remodeling is by far the best construction company in the Bay area. I interviewed quite a few different people for a project I needed done, and I instantly got a good feeling about Alex. I could not have been more right...he was excellent! He and his team were always on time, working hard straight through the day, they were honest with their quotes, and did a PERFECT job. Im nervous writing this review because I dont want him to be taken next time I need him! He and his team are AMAZING...you'd be lucky to hire him.

This is the fourth time I’ve used Alex, Fred and their team. The first for a kitchen remodel, the second for a bedroom split, the third to install railing for a balcony, and currently to convert a garage to a Rec room (installing flooring, repairing dry rot, putting in a roof with skylights) and paint the exterior of my house. Golden Bay does it all and has been great to work with across the diverse projects I’ve hired them for. I’m thankful for Alex and Fred’s open communication style in talking through the normal challenges that come up in construction and trust their recommendations on materials, finishes and where we can save money or where we should spend more money for long term value. I cannot recommend them enough. I will continue to use them for any project big or small!
