- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different. We have offer many levels of service to fit your needs. From color consultations starting at $395, to our DIY design package starting at $1400, to the full service design and project management package starting at $2700. We will customize a package to meet your expectations and make your design dreams come true!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Plan: We meet at your home so you can show me the space in person and discuss what you would like done, your tastes, your style, your timeline and your budget. Design: MED will create 2 design concepts to be presented. You will choose which concept you prefer (or parts of each) and we will develope the perfect design for you and your budget. Implementation: We'll be there during the planning process working as a team with the other professionals involved to coordinate and insure a smooth construction process. You choose what you would like to purchase and we will take care of placing orders, tracking, inspecting, and overseeing installations for you. We will meet with contractors and trades and be there to answer any questions on the construction site that may come up and work out any problems encountered. We are there representing YOU during construction/remodeling, which can be very stressful. We take the pressure off the homeowner! We will stage the home with all final details to make your design dreams become a reality!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in interior design from San Francisco State University I have an associates of arts degree in interior design from Santa Barbara City College I am a certified interior designer by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification NCIDQ Certificate No. 28323 I am a LEED accredited professional with USGBC
