I am an Animal Behaviorist and Dog Trainer, I studied Animal Psychology at the Veterinary University of London/England, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Animal Psychology in 2006. I worked in Frankfurt, Germany for years, with hard-to-adopt dogs, at shelters on behavior modification, to improve their behavior and get them ready for adoption. I offer individual Dog Training, General Obedience, Socialization, and Behavior Modification, (including aggression, anxiety, etc). I have been in business in L.A. since 2011. My rates are $85/h for single sessions, DISCOUNTED PACKAGES are available: 10 sessions $750 5 sessions $400

Great experience. Worked with me to make sure I was giving my dog the support he needed. Like her approach, and saw results in my dogs barking habits at the end of the first session (that doesn't mean it was solved in the first session, folks).

Petra helped me very much with my hyper puppy, with house/potty training as well as behaviour, I had trouble with my dog and Petra always responded immediately, explained, and showed me everything very well and easy to understand and followed up emailing me all information and explanations in writing as well. My dog had trouble greeting other dogs, he would jump on them and scare them away even though he meant to play. Petra helped me by teaching me how to react when this happens and how to teach him to do this differently. My dog's behaviour has improved drastically and I think both my dog and I have profited off of the training. I loved the Zoom virtual training lessons during these challenging times which is very convenient and not having to go anywhere, being able to do the training right in my home.
