- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I keep up on the latest important health research as it relates to fitness and/or a clients personal goal. I love learning about fitness and intend on getting a near certification yearly.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is the fundamentals of exercise and your physiology that are most important for your results. One of the most important factors I believe many trainers neglect is hydration. A workout while dehydrated carries higher cardiovascular risk, higher risk of injury, reduced muscular power output, poor recovery and a slower metabolism. NASM, ACSM or ACE certifications or an exercise related degree from a respected college should ensure that your trainers know the important facts about exercise so you can simply reap the benefits.
