- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing to learn is so important. Reading up on all of the advances being made with horse partnering, along with Veterinary knowledge with the help of my wonderful Veterinarian, Dr. Colburn keeps me informed. Everyone needs coaching and I keep up with my riding skills and education with the help from my own high level coaches, Sandy Burns Gardner (Dressage), and Taren Atkinson (Eventing).
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask about safety and what equipment is required. Make sure you have access to a helmet and boots. Let your provider know about any experience with horses you may have along with your comfort level, and what your riding goals are. Any questions are good questions! Try a lesson :)
