FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer flat rates for the most common repairs. Although subject to change, as these prices are based on workable soil condition, access and free of obstructions (tree roots, rock/cement, fitting junctions, etc...) I deal with the unknown on just about every job, but usually can identify if the cost will be higher before starting any work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact and schedule a meeting. Determine what they want to accomplish is key. Go over any and all options applicable. Provide estimate, sometimes multiple estimates. If accepted, schedule start date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always something to learn. I have contacts at the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District. Currently I am investigating "Water Wise" certifications. Also involved with online message boards and garden groups of "Master Gardeners." Networking is always a good way to educate yourself.
