FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, I do not have a complicated system of pricing for my business. It is based on what has to be done, how long it will take, how much work is involved and what is the client's budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first meeting with a new client is basically a get to know you meeting. At that time I ask what do you want, the style you are looking for and the colors you want to use. From there we go into what is your lifestyle all about. i.e. do you entertain a lot, do you have small children and pets. How much are the rooms used that you want done. What is the budget, time frame, and what are your expectations from me as a designer. The client is told that nothing will be purchased or done without their permission or approval of my presented ideas. I always explain how my process works. Before anything is done on a new project, a design agreement is presented and must be edited or approved before any work commences.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not take any classes, however, I do attend lectures and networking meetings to stay on top of the latest trends. Magazines and books are also a means of staying in touch with design trends.
