David is focused on bringing out the best of the student. He knows how to elicit the "truth" of one's voice, using down to earth explanations so that vocal production isn't a mystery. At the same time, he makes lessons fun! He has a great sense of humor to go along with his deep understanding of how to really get the voice to do what it was meant to do. He is also a terrific show creator/director/writer/editor and incomparable accompanist! Below is an after-show photo of David (on the right) and me after a cabaret performance we did together at San Francisco's Hotel Rex a couple of years ago.
