Introduction: Ultimately, this business is about whether a client feels that they have received more in value than what they have paid for services. All people going through divorce want it to be over, quickly, but they also want to ensure that they are receiving what they are entitled to under the law. I am able to get my clients what they deserve, while at the same time helping them feel respected and comfortable and confident with the divorce process.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I bill at a rate of $200 an hour and I offer a free phone consultation.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will first have a free phone consultation or an in person consultation (for $200) to meet with the client and see if I am able to help them out. If I am, I will quote the client a retainer, which is case specific and I send the client a draft retainer agreement, which lays out, in detail, my and the client's obligations and all other relevant details of the scope of my engagement. Once I receive the signed retainer agreement and payment for the retainer, I start work right away.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a family law attorney since 2010. For the first five years of my practice, I worked in one of Orange County's largest and most prestigious family law firms. Three years ago, I started my own practice. Prior to practicing law, I attended Western State University, College of Law, on scholarship, where I participated in the Legal Clinic, and I graduated with honors. Prior to that, I worked in a family law firm in administrative and paralegal positions.
