Introduction: Quality and over 40 years experience is what I offer to perspective clients. I have work selected frequently to be used in print media. I have also had images that took best of show in competitions both locally and internationally. I take pride in listening to your needs and then creating images that meet those requirements. Ken has been giving our teenage daughter lessons for a few months and she is actually excited about her photography. We were having some difficulties with her and had been using a counselor for her depression. But since she has developed the interest in photography she has come back to life. She no longer closes off others and stays in her room all the time. She now is spending time with her camera and getting involved in team sports etc. She wants to take her camera everywhere and then can't wait to get home and put them on her computer to see and share. Ken helped us by loaning her a camera for the first few lessons and then helped us to buy her own outfit once she showed the interest to stay with this. I want to thank Ken for helping her and teaching her so much in just a few months. He is an excellent photographer and has more patience than anyone I know.

We have used Ken to photograph our annual events for the past 3 years and his work is excellent and his demeanor with us had been wonderful. Our event images are posted on the web in less than a week an for our members can order prints, hats, shirts or even mugs etc. from there. I have modeled for Ken several times. He is always fun to work with. I feel more comfortable with him than any other photographer I have worked with. His images are always fabulous and he has had them up for review on his site within a week of the shoots I have done. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price every job based on its requirements. I do basic portraiture to the most refined imaging. Prices have to be assigned for the actual content and complexity of the work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial contact is made by the customer. Then I try to arrange a meet and greet to discuss the clients needs. This give us a chance to establish rapport with each other and helps the client to decide if they would like for me the one to be trusted to record their memories etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MFA In photography. I read constantly and attend as well as teach workshops. I stay on top of the newest innovations so that I can give my clients the quality they deserve. However I still maintain that old school feel when needed.
