I messed up my divorce papers (the court rejected them 3 times). I finally gave up trying to do it myself and found Cathy Cowan through thumbtack. She responded very quickly via email and was able to point out my various mistakes. When I arrived for my appointment she had already redone and printed all the necessary forms. On top of being knowledgeable and fast she is also very very funny :) Thank you Cathy for all your help!!!

I paid Cathy $1300 cash to prepare child custody docs I traveled to her office 30 miles Manhattan beach 3 times I was locked out once to wait for one hour her copy machine was broken not able to make copies she refused to finish assignment to organize exhibits to file with court, so far, I have retained three paralegals from thumbtack to spent over $3000 still file is not complete. I advise consumer to never make a large sum of payment in advance to paralegal but in installments to have a contract signed in case paralegal walks away to not finish assignment. I would never use thumbtack to seek paralegal services
