Introduction: Founded in 2002 by Chelley, Dimlight Events has its roots in the theater stage, managing musicals, plays and shows in community theaters around Los Angeles.
Chelley then got a taste of being backstage -- planning, managing, coordinating, organizing, scheduling and multitasking!
From then on, with her newly found love and skill set, she was tapped by various friends to explore a world outside of theater, i.e., conferences, concerts, weddings, etc. She discovered that many of the skills she utilized as a stage manager could be transferred elsewhere.
Since the call of the theater is strong and far-reaching in her life, she decided to name the company "Dimlight," because "dimming the lights" is one of the cues in theater and various shows that something spectacular is about to happen onstage, and everyone should take their places! Thus, "Dimlight Events" was born.
Dimlight Events is a full-service event planning and management company. We plan, manage and coordinate all aspects of an event. We have experience with all types of events -- celebrations, promotions, commemorations, educational meetings and conferences, live stage shows, and much more.
We worry about the details so the client does not have to, and we get the job done. We help visualize the event with the client and partner with them through the process and draw out inspiration from ideas, and Dimlight delivers with an excellent quality of service, every step of the way.
Dimlight Events has organized and managed many events, with an attendance varying from an intimate dinner of 30 to a multi-day conference of 8,000. We believe that if it is well planned, people will come, and we have a lot of fun in the process!
What clients love about our work is our attention to detail and high quality of service. We are knowledgeable and professional in all aspects of event planning and management, from inception to completion.
We offer our clients "peace of mind" and comfort in knowing that their special events will be planned well, and therefore, executed well, because as Dwight Eisenhower said, "Planning is everything!"
