I have worked with Hugo on prepping-up my primary residence as a rental property. Initially Hugo came-in to fix dry-walls and then seeing his work I gradually give him more and more jobs. The various jobs he has done for me include: 1. drywall patching and painting 2. epoxy on the garage floor 3. fixing seal on bathroom toilet 4. installing new flooring for master bedroom. 5. installing rockwool insulation 6. fixing squeaky floors in all bedrooms 7. replacing water spout in bathroom tub 8. separating bathroom switch for fan and light. He did this job in conjunction with his electrician friend. 9. painting the inside of the garage. 10. Replacing the screen window of a sliding door. 11. installing a new screen window for a bathroom Hugo is now my goto handyman/construction work guy. He is very very knowledgable about almost all the trades. When he is in doubt he has a good network of folks he knows from his day job to contact and seek opinion/advice. The things I have liked about working with Hugo - He never upsells anything. He'll only tell you to fix what is required. He'll give you a spectrum of options to choose from, the cheapest to the most expensive. - He will tell you about other problems he observes while he is working on a given job. For instance, I already knew the seal of the toilet in one of the bathrooms wasn't right. One of our guests had also pointed it out. Hugo, brought it up to me after working on a drywall patch in the bathroom. . Another instance was when he was working to fix our squeaky floors he noticed the termite problem and brought it to our attention. - He did excellent work on all the jobs I gave him. Very satisfied with his jobs! - He gives the most fair pricing of all the contractors/handymen/big companies I have worked with! His pricing is excellent. No gouging. - Communication is excellent. - Unlike other handymen, Hugo will upfront let you know what is beyond his competency. For instance, Hugo will not take an involved/complex electrical project that he can't deliver. Though he might give you a referral given his connections. One of his friends did termite treatment at a very reasonable price. So, what are some of the cons of working with Hugo? The only call out is that Hugo is usually very busy and you'll have to work with his schedule. If you are flexible with schedule then I would hands-down recommend hiring Hugo without a second thought. But if you are working on very tight deadlines and have a stiff schedule better to ask Hugo in advance if he can make the time. That isn't to imply that Hugo is tardy rather it is the nature of repairs. For example you may signup Hugo for say a drywall repair and then tearing down the drywall, say, exposes a rotting column. You may want Hugo to fix both but he only scheduled time to fix the drywall and now you have to schedule another appointment with him, which may not be the next day. His knowledge/expertise/pricing make for a powerful combo that few can beat in the market! I wanted to hire him for another project at a different property but he just didn't have the time. But that kind of speaks to his ability and expertise. A competent man is seldom free :)

Hugo and Roberto are awesome! Hired them to do a few handyman related tasks including hanging a new exterior door and they did such a great job, I brought them back to paint my house and refinish a 75 year old wooden picnic table that came out beautifully. Their work is excellent and they’re also just good people. Looking forward to getting them back to work on my next project.

First of all if you are looking for someone that is professional, responsible and good with details Hugo is the one. Hugo came to my home he saw my bathroom and right away new what was wrong, he then told me what he needed to do and right away he got to work. His Professionalism with details is the best he saw every detail my bathroom needed that i didnt even know. Overall will i definitely get Hugo again for my Home most definitely YES !
