Mark is a true HVAC professional who takes pride in his work. So much so, that he regularly shares his fixes on his social media because he's not hiding anything and not scared of showing his work (much like the kitchen and chefs being on display to patrons in a high-end restaurant). I'm very fortunate to have found him. I was looking for someone to tune up the old Rheem unit on the new (old) house we purchased. The unit has been working ok but from the looks of the system, it's old, dirty and like everything else in the house, not much was properly maintained before us. I'm not rolling in dough, so prolonging the life of my current old AC was my main objective. Mark cleaned out the condenser coil and found that the evaporator coil was an old z-type where the annual labor involved in cleaning it would be significant enough to merit looking into converting to a conventional A-type coil. The simplicity of the conventional design would mean reduced annual maintenance costs and would also make the system run more efficient (being a new coil, it'd also flow better). So glad we went this route because when he took the old coil out, it was corroded and had mold all over it - yikes. Mark also put on a hard-start kit on the condenser to smooth out the power draw when the system starts up and replaced the contactor. The lower the stress and run time on the AC system, the better my odds of squeezing a few more seasons. Mark did offer a few solutions but when I told him I wanted to take a few extra steps to increase the odds of making this 25+ year-old system last a few more years, these were his recommendations. I'm not a professional but I do have some general knowledge on how these things work and his recommendations made sense. All that being said, his prices were fair and the conversion and fixes he did looked very clean. I really enjoy when a professional shows me everything he did - it means there's nothing to hide and he stands by his work. He showed me some of the work he did on his social media and how he interacts with other HVAC pros - it's obvious that he takes great pride in his craft. If you're looking for the cheapest mickey-mouse solution to your HVAC problems or you're looking for the cheapest install on a new system, go somewhere else. But if you want something done right, whether you only have the funds to squeeze by for the season or you want a new system or somewhere between, Mark will find a solution for you and it will be a fair price.

Technical Mark was very professional. He diagnosed the issue with my furnace unit within minutes. While waiting for parts he set up a temporary solution to keep the unit running with little limitations to keep my house warm. He gave me a fair price to service the unit since it really needed one.
