Hired on Thumbtack

I was looking for a caterer for a party, so I tried Thumbtack. I received quotes from five people, but the moment I read Patricia's suggested menu I knew I was going with her. The venue did not have a prep kitchen or even a oven for that matter, but it did not phase her. Even when I requested a "sampling" of the menu a few weeks before the event she was on top of it. The day of the party she was right on time. The food looked great and the guests all enjoyed the wonderful meal. The only reason for the 4 stars was due to the staffing. There were two people setting up and helping serve. They were not very experience and it showed. I think with a more professional staff I would have would given 5 stars!
