Ivan was my piano teacher for a year. It was a great experience working with him on a weekly basis. He is indeed a professional in his field and related very well to my level of music reading. We started at the very basics and I was surprised how much I learned from Ivan in a single year. I strongly recommend having Ivan as a piano instructor.

Ivan Utomo taught my sons (who have learned the piano for many years) this summer, and we were very impressed. Still young, but professional and inspiring. He taught not only the techniques, but advised them how to analyze and understand the music. Too bad he lives far away now, if not, we would have him as the piano teacher in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Mr. Utomo.
