I really enjoy taking the Tai Chi and Chi Kung for Health class from Richard. His class emphasizes breathing, balance, and energizing your body - something we all need. He is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. I wish I would have started taking the class from him many years ago.
I have trained in the art of Kung Fu San Soo off and on since approximately 1982. During this time period I have studied under different instructors and in various schools, and along the way I have also picked up a little Judo and Jujitsu. Until now, under the instruction of Master Dale Garrison, have I learned the science and mechanics behind the art of San Soo. It has brought my understanding of the arts I have studied to a whole new level. For all the hands on instruction he has given me and my fellow students I am eternally grateful. Successful execution of defending oneself does not depend on the strenght of the practitioner, rather it is the method that is applied. The techniques that are taught are simple, straight to the point and easy to learn. My teaching method is very hands on with a great attention to detail, the student is built up with each class session. I offer quality martial arts self defense training at a reasonable price, more expensive does not always mean something is better. The greatest reward I receive is watching someone grow in the art and gain confidence knowing they can protect themselves. In the class I am very approachable and all questions are answered.

We offer martial arts for men, women and children. We specialize in traditional Chinese kung fu and tai chi. Our students range from 5 years old to 80! We have over 2,500 square feet of workout space, with group and private classes/training available five days a week. The internal art of tai chi focuses on breathing and balance, as well as right brain/left brain mental stimulation and memorization. Kung Fu San Soo (the practical art of fighting) is the most practical of all street oriented martial arts. It was designed for training to deal with real combat situations and is not a sport. It is practical for all physical sizes and ages. Students will learn how to do forms with your hands and with various weapons. Fighting lessons range from striking combinations to leverage based joint locks and throwing techniques.The goal is to learn how to defend yourself in a spontaneous and efficient manner. Students can become confident in self defense within weeks of beginning training. You also have the opportunity to continue your training to the level of "Kung Fu master".
