I have been in practice since 2004. I have a Master's in Marriage Family Therapy, a Master's in Applied Psychology, and A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I specialize in couples counseling, intimacy and relationship issues, pre-marital counseling, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I specialize in Immigration Evaluations for the 601A, VAWA, U-VISA, Asylum, and other cases. I also specialize in other types of psychological testing and assessments, Substance Abuse Evaluations for DOT/SAP. I am a certified Substance Abuse Professionals and certified immigration evaluations. I welcome referrals as well as questions or consultations. Dr. Carreon is an expert in the field of immigration psychology. His dissertation was entitled "Attachment, Acculturative Stress, Social Supports, Separation, and Marital Distress in Mexican and Central American Adult Immigrants Separated from Primary Caregivers as Children". He's published articles on immigration, cultural competence, bilingualism and biculturalism, and student mentoring.
