FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a $250 on-site consultation fee, which covers the time and expertise of walking your project in detail and providing real guidance — and it’s credited back to you once your project begins. Our pricing reflects the level of craftsmanship, materials, and project management that high-end remodels require. We don’t compete on being the cheapest bid; we focus on delivering work that holds up and a process that doesn’t leave you guessing. Every proposal is detailed, transparent, and tailored to your specific scope — no hidden fees, no surprise change orders.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Discovery call — A focused conversation to understand your project, timeline, budget range, and any past experiences with contractors. This is where we learn what matters most to you and confirm we’re the right fit before anyone’s time gets invested. 2. On-site consultation — We meet at your home to walk the space, discuss your vision in detail, and define the full scope of work. If your project calls for design, we’ll talk through whether to handle it in-house or coordinate with your designer or architect. 3. Proposal & solution — We present a tailored plan with clear pricing, materials, and timeline so you know exactly what’s included and what to expect. 4. Refinement — Most projects evolve. We’ll work through any scope adjustments, material swaps, or value engineering together until the plan reflects exactly what you want. 5. Agreement & pre-construction — Once the agreement is signed, we move into planning: securing permits, ordering long-lead materials, scheduling trades, and prepping the site so day one runs smoothly. 6. Construction — Your project is led by a dedicated project manager who’s your single point of contact from start to finish. You’ll get consistent updates, a clean job site, and no surprises — questions answered, decisions documented, progress visible. 7. Final walkthrough & quality check — We walk the completed project with you to review every detail and handle any final touch-ups before you take it back. 8. 1-year workmanship warranty — We stand behind our work. If anything comes up in the first year, we make it right.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education has been hands-on — growing up around construction, learning the craft from experienced builders, and refining it across years of real projects. I’m a licensed California General Contractor (Lic. #1116677) and a member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), which keeps me connected to current design standards, products, and best practices in high-end residential work. In this trade, real expertise comes from doing the work — and continuing to learn from every project.
