- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is to be an agreement between the Customer and Roger's Flooring Company before the project begins and a cash payment upon completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During my first communication with customer I discuss the details and scope of the project they are wanting to upgrade flooring for, as well as if they have made a selection. I also offer them availability to see a wide variety of flooring materials to shop and help them with the process. I draw up a floor plan, take all measurements and calculate the square footage or yardage so they know how much material to purchase. Next I will calculate material and installation costs and discuss purchase options. Upon availability of the materials, I would then set up an installation date, confirm with the customer and pick up and proceed with the installation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended several Armstrong, Congoleum, Tarkett, and Mannington installation classes over the years. I was also a member of the Carpet Linoleum and Soft Tile Layers Union Local #1237 in Sacramento. I worked for Home Depot ( 10 years ) and Lowe's ( 15 years), each had an Installed Sales Department.
