Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am very passionate about teaching. I am constantly doing more research about method books, techniques, and new repertoire for my students. Unlike many teachers, I perform on a regular basis and can give coachings from a professional perspective. I also organize several recitals throughout the year so students get more performance experience. I love it when students ask interesting questions and are active learners. Time and time again, I see their hard work paying off and it never ceases to make me proud. Watching students perform always makes me happy.

Samantha is an amazing and talented musician. She has helped my daughter improve vocally so much over the last 3 years! She is a wonderful teacher, Her passion and love of music shine through in her teaching style making her students engaged, excited and motivated to learn. My daughter loves going to voice lessons with Samantha, she always leaves feeling proud, excited to practice and can't wait until her next voice lesson!

Samantha was great! She tailored the lesson to my very specific request, and made sure that every minute was used working towards my goal. She was able to identify my specific weaknesses so that we could spend the time efficiently. Very professional, yet very relatable.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Private lessons are once a week at $25 for a half hour and $50 for one hour. Tuition is payed monthly - due at the beginning of each month. Single session coachings are $30 for a half hour and $60 for one hour.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Earlier this year, I featured three of my teen students in a special recital. It was the most any of them had performed before. The recital was amazing and brought tears to everyone in attendance, teacher included!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The goal should never be to "win" at music. We are swamped with shows like American Idol and such that showcase music as a competition. This competitive, get-rich-quick attitude leads to poor musicianship and a negative experience. Music is a slow, wonderful journey and shouldn't be rushed with overly ambitious goals.
