Introduction: When I work with an event, I feel the energy of the client and of the venue or event. I play to entertain the crowd and the host of the event. I also do extensive research on the song genres that I play and am constantly improving myself and my work. A good DJ never says " I am the best at what I do", instead a good DJ will let their work speak for itself as well as doing what they can to improve their skills. For the costumer, I tell them why I would be the best provider for their event and if I don't think that I am personally the best for their event, I can find someone on my work crew or suggest other DJ's or music companies that would be a better fit. There are many aspects to this job that I like. One of which is the meeting of people as well as being able to understand what people want and being able to provide them with the service they are asking for. Payment is good and all, but when I see the customer smiling the entire time during the event, I know I'm doing my job, I'm doing it well, and host and guests are having a good time. I also love working hands on with the equipment and being able to help in any area i can.to leave a happy and unforgettable memory in some ones mind is priceless to me because if i do that im getting paid for life, and that to me is better then getting paid at the end of the event.

I was invited to the Hookahholics event and was pleasently surprised by this DJ. I have been to a few clubs and events in the past couple years and the music has been so-so, but This DJ really knew his stuff. He played loads of popular songs, and a lot of less well known songs that have become really popular since then. It really showed me that he invests himself in his music and does way more research than every other DJ I have heard play. He didn't simply play popular song after popular song, but he seemed to read off of our energy and determine what we wanted to hear right there, and his knowledge of musical theory really put a bounce in the room when he seamlessly led one song into the next.

he is a great dj i hear him playing his thing lots of times in scanime. he has gone to scanime long as i and play his dj thing during events and groups or sometimes walking around, he is very good wat he does.

Does a good job overall but has a tendency to butt heads with higher level staff. Attire for event was unprofessional. We do appreciate his coming out last minute though.

He says he can get me into the club for free..........but then I had to pay. WTF man. He even made a phone call and made me believe he had all these connections........but when we got there he was nervous and said to switch me for his other friend.

I apologize Patrick for that. sometime when you dj at a venue and another promoter is the one running the event you are at there mercy to keep a professional curtesy for the one who asked me to come out and provide my services i was not going to push the subject but i did pay for you to get in i apologize.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
when i was 16 i was in a dark place in my life, emotional and physical abuse were involved. one day i wanted to end it all it was going to be so easy i had it all planned out. i had the needle in my arm and before i pushed the plunger down i heard a song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIJIQD6XCSk) i stopped what i was doing pulled the needle out of my arm and from that day forward i dedicated my life to music. every person has an outlet sucide is never the answer find your harness it be safe and responsible about it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Dj'ing and sound setup for large or small events. I have also provided help with setting up an event with employers, planning the guest list, music, event length, and location. Examples of events I have helped with planning are Sacramento Street Fairs, High School Dances, and some concert events.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest they meet face to face with potential provider, ask for their resume, and listen to a sample of their music or video of an event they did. Don't ever hire someone without a resume or some type of references, and even after getting references, look up their references to make sure they are trust worthy.
