FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I quote my price as per day which includes the overnight stay, so technically it equals a 24 hour period. But, if on the last day you are expected home later than 1pm, and I possibly will need to feed the animals dinner, than I count that as a full day. I also do drop-in visits, which are very common for cats. I can do either a half hour visit, or a full hour.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a friend that I worked with in a different job, and she also did pet sitting on the side. She was starting to get too busy, and I had mentioned at some point that I had done some myself, and would be willing to help her out if needed. She asked for help, and the work just blossomed from there.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My favorite is to stay at the client house, with the animals, for extended overnights. I will keep their routine as normal as possible, and help keep the animals as stress free as possible. I do feeding, some walking, similar night time routines they are used to(like if they want to sleep with me in the bed), and anything else the animals need.
