- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Many companies still use methods that are outside the guidelines that search engines require. Do your research and make sure you do not sign with a company that could do more harm then good. Being banned or penalized by a search engine is deadly to a business. Also, check the validity of current references or clients. This is the information that show's a companies value.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
This profession is just as much psychology as it is technology. Understanding people in general is key to delivering a successful campaign, website, or social media strategy. And being good in this business requires intelligence. However, to be an expert requires both intelligence and street smarts by understanding people, and proper approach to gain new followers, traffic, and lead generation. Most of all while it's not physical labor, it's extremely hard work, and proper effective online marketing requires incredible diligence, patience and fortitude.
