Introduction: I'm an all-original, smooth neo-soul singer, not R&B, and I do not do covers. I do have a large music list of songs that no one has not turn away from. My music is fit for weddings, anniversaries, graduations and appreciation/recognition parties. Sorry, but I know longer do funerals. My music is also event appropriate, such as cancer awareness, car shows, counselor meetings, chambers, and all recreational events. More Details About Me I'm a storyteller who has been telling detailed stories since the age of six. By the age of seven, Cherokii showed her love for music when she sang the first time in front of a live audience and moved the room to tears with her passionate voice, which led her to continue singing every since. By the age of 14, Cherokii had mastered the art of singing songs that dealt with love and emotions and that led this songbird to become a wedding/funeral singer for many years. As this young singer became of age and started experiencing the hardships of life, which deepens her way, she decided to compose her songs. To express her musical stories with compassion first, then the lyrics. The true meaning of music for Cherokii comes from life's real events transformed into a melody. Cherokii's goal is to bring back the heart of music when music was about more than just dance but relatable, like the great Phillis Hyman, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston and even the Temptations.
