Goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have experience working with chiropractors providing corrective exercises and with physical therapists continuing exercises prescriptions after pt sessions are complete. I am extreemly comfortable with kids so no babysitter is required during workouts. I really enjoy working with seniors and am very comfortable addressing their functional needs. It's not all about kick butt workouts but I do that too. Helping people achieve their goals and improving a person's quality of life.

I have been having personal training sessions with Paul for over two months now. I absolutely get a fantastic workout and feel great when I am finished. He pushes me harder than I would push myself which is what I need. He comes to my apartment and we I workout outside which is very nice. I would absolutely recommend Paul for anyone who is looking to get in shape and be accountable to someone.

I'd give more than 5* if I could! Paul is just amazing! His attitude is so uplifting you just want to do more and more! He helped me lose 65lbs in just a couple of months! Keeps on giving me good advice and answers my questions no matter how stupid they would be. If he's not sure he'll look it up and give you an answer as correct as possible! I've seen such a progress and change in my body training with him and it keeps amazing me! He doesn't just let you lift and train but makes sure your posture is correct so you don't hurt yourself later! With him by your side, you'll be in the shape you dream of in no time!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I went back to college so that I could get certified as a fencing master at the San Jose State Fencing Masters program. They required at a minimun a B.S. I chose Kinesiology (Nutrition and Wellness) and achieved the title Master at Arms certification. So now, in addition to teachiing fencing a natural extension was to get into fitness. I worked as a trainer for 24 hour fitness and also Crunch. After my second deployment to afghanistan (oh, i had to join the navy for college funds), I decided to start my own fitness company.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure if you are working qualified trainer. They should have a degree in an exercise related field and national personal training certificates such as NASM, NESTA and ACSM.
