FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing will vary greatly depending on the project. For certain big projects, like a children's book we will negotiate either a one time flat fee or an advance + royalties. For smaller jobs, like a logo design, I will generally charge by the hour. Usually around $65 per hour. I always include at least one round of revisions in my final price, and if you want more revisions can be bought if you desire. I can also do rush orders for fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to exchange messages here then move to e-mail to discuss the project. I will ask a series of questions to best deliver exactly what you're looking for, so expect questions like: for what purpose do you need the art, size dimensions, art style, deadline, price, and what format you would like the final art to be in.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Orange Coast College and majored in Design, where I studied many different art forms from oil painting to collage. I also have a huge amount of experiences under my belt, from working at a greeting card company for over 10 years, creating designs for Recycled and Papyrus, to 10 years worth of freelance experience of creating art for magazines, books, logo designs and more.
