Juliet did a great job helping our son prepare for the ACT. We got her involved late, but she made an impact straight away and helped him focus and de-stressMay 10, 2018Verified
Juliet helped my son improve his ACT English score by 5 points and his Math score by 2 points. This allowed my son to submit a competitive ACT score to his chosen colleges. Juliet was great to work with and I highly recommend her services.Feb 27, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer competitive rates with credentialed and experience educators. Many large tutoring, test prep and college planning firms charge $200-$300 an hour, often times with young "tutors" who lack significant teaching experience and training. I hire genuine experts in their fields at higher salaries, but offer my students lower rates, a fraction of what many of my competitors charge. Let's be honest: less company overhead and fewer executive salaries yield better prices for consumers and higher wages for professionals!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation to determine all prospective clients' needs and objectives. In addition, I gather data regarding areas of strength and improvement in order to build a personalized program that helps students and families meet their goals. I have an "open door" policy; should my clients have questions or concerns, I am at their service at no added cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In addition to earning a BA, MA, and CA teaching credential, I have served as an educator for over 18 years as a credentialed classroom teacher, high school principal and college adviser, private tutor and PSAT/ACT/SAT test prep instructor.
