FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm an expert bookkeeper, and I charge based on that. That being said, I've never had a single client complain that my prices were unfair or that they didn't get many, many times more back from the quality of my services. Good bookkeeping is one of the services that's worth paying for, and I absolutely guarantee that you'll see a significant change in the way your business runs within a few months of starting with me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a really specific process for getting clients onboarded as quickly and thoroughly as possible. I send a quick online survey that gives me all the important information about a client's business; based on that, I create a list of documents I require. I use a server with bank-level security to store your documents, so you never have to worry about uploading financial information. At that point, there's usually a two week turnaround for me to produce a draft set of financial statements and have a meeting to go over what I've found about your financial position and any further information that I'm missing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Like many accountants, my first training was on the job. Since then, I've gone through Ben Robinson's BBL and TBL certifications, QuickBooks Advanced training, Xero advanced training, and the IRS' RFTRP certification (which sadly isn't offered anymore).
