FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take continuing education courses every year to keep up with changes in the law. In 2012 I participated in the family Law College of Trial Advocacy at the San Diego Bar Association.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone that you see eye to eye with, not just someone who impresses you with their knowledge or office. If you think the lawyer only wants to get paid and has no interest in helping you, don't hire than person. There are plenty of attorneys in San Diego who care out their clients and would do a great job.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The legal profession is filled with people who want to fight for the sake of fighting. I am not one of those people. Who you hire as your lawyer, can make a huge difference in how your case goes, not because of how well the lawyer knows the law, but based on that lawyers personality and approach to cases. if you are unlucky enough to hire an attorney that wants to do nothing but litigate, you will find that your attorney costs will often be high, and your results less than optimal.
