- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Regarding editing, I always assume 1 hour of editing to 1 hour of shooting. I will never charge you more during the editing process. Photo turnaround is 3 weeks from the photoshoot date. Some services are more than others. This is either has to do with the pre-production (or pre-shoot advisement) or equipment needed to execute the shoot. Regarding pre-production, there is more to consider when planning and coordinating a photoshoot with a business or couple. This fee is to ensure that all the proper pre-production steps are taken to ensure a successful shoot. Regarding equipment, some services require more powerful, expensive equipment to capture desired shots without disrupting the event I'm photographing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free consultation over the phone to discuss my process and pricing. Once we agree on a quote, you will sign an agreement. Then we move into pre-production planning and scheduling. From there, we will plan to execute your shoot. Photo turnaround is 3 weeks from the photoshoot date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Sciences in the major Television, Film and New Media from San Diego State University (graduated Summa Cum Laude) and 10 years in the film and photography industry.
